Elizabeth Abrams, DDS, is a cosmetic and family dentist who treats patients of all ages at Manhasset Dental Arts in Manhasset, New York.
Dr. Abrams earned her dental degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. During her time at NYU, she developed an expertise in root canals, implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, pediatric dentistry, and geriatric patient treatment. She had the privilege of studying alongside and graduating with her father, who was also a student during her time there.
Since graduating, Dr. Abrams has kept her skills sharp by devoting time to continuing education courses. She’s completed advanced studies in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and occlusion, in addition to digital dental and implant planning. She has also trained in administering nitrous oxide and is experienced in working with patients under both conscious and general sedation.
At Manhasset Dental Arts, Dr. Abrams is dedicated to designing specialized treatment plants to create beautiful and healthy smiles for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. She’s particularly skilled in practicing smile design with a variety of approaches, including the use of implant and tooth-supported dentures, space maintainers, growth-modification appliances, and biomimetic and regenerative techniques to repair damaged teeth. She’s also adept in full mouth rehabilitation to improve smiles suffering from bite collapse or partial dentition.
Dr. Abrams is a proud and active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. She lives in Manhasset with her husband and daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, serving on her children’s PTA, and exercising with the family puppy, Merlin.
